Improve Relationship Patterns
Identify techniques to help clients resolve negative relationship experiences and develop healthy self-esteem and relationship skills.
Break Maladaptive Habits
Utilize evidence-based tools to help clients replace maladaptive habits with healthy coping tools, clear cravings, and improve impulse control.
Reduce Anxiety, Depression and Pain
Apply hypnotic strategies that can help clients break recurring cycles of anxiety, depression and pain and experience a positive sense of self.
Complex trauma such as repetitive exposure to abuse, neglect, loss, or other traumatic events can take a toll on a person's nervous system and ability to build healthy relationships. This can leave a person vulnerable to anxiety, depression, pain, dissociation, and substance abuse. Fortunately, studies have shown that integrating hypnosis can enhance therapy outcomes by as much as 60-70%!
Our Trauma Informed Hypnotherapy Level 2 course is an 8-week, multi-session virtual course with both live and online content to train mental health practitioners in intermediate clinical hypnosis and trauma reprocessing techniques.
After taking this course, you will be better able to: assess your client's attachment style and identify effective strategies for repairing attachment trauma; clear inner conflicts blocking change; apply techniques for managing dissociation and get more techniques for alleviating anxiety, pain, and maladaptive habits. Limitations, cultural considerations, and ethical use of hypnosis will also be addressed.
In this unique training program developed by Courtney Armstrong, LPC that follows our Level One course you'll get:

“This was a really well-done course, far exceeded my expectations and is in a completely different league than most trainings I attend. I looked forward to this time each week and was instantly able to apply new techniques and ideas immediately after leaving class. I loved the ‘micro-skill’ and competency-based focus of our sessions--it really led to being able to instantly improve.”
“I am used to learning new skills via in- person multiday workshops so I wasn't really sure if this online format over multiple weeks would work and it really worked well! It was especially nice to be able to do this without having to travel, especially during this time of COVID. I am really looking forward to intermediate and deepening my knowledge and skills.”
“This was the highest quality training I have ever received in 12 years at the VA. It was up to date; beautifully managed and conducted and aligned with American Society of Clinical Hypnosis (ASCH) teachings. It allowed enough time to practice all the skills to competence.”
“This was one of the best trainings ever! The small groups were so valuable and the ability to practice with our colleagues very important. Lastly it was so effective to have the coaches move from small group to small group, so helpful. I am grateful for the ability to attend this training.”
